Josephine James Artists Profile Josephine’s career as a visual artist began on leaving school when she attended college to study fashion and design, followed by many years designing and making high quality evening wear. Josephine returned to college at a later date to study fine art leaving with an HND and experience in the mediums of watercolour and mixed media. This enabled her to teach watercolour painting on cruise ships around the world. Since establishing herself as an artist in various Art Galleries in Essex Josephine has now built a following for her painting as she continually works on different creative bodies of work. The latest work Josephine has produced and is now showing in the Estuary Gallery Co-operative and is based on her previous experience in the fashion world with the beautiful flowing dress designs depicted as monotone watercolours.
